What is an "ORIGINAL" and what is a "GICLEE"?

An Original Painting...
...is one that has been hand-painted by the artist from start to finish,
      direct from the easel  
...the concept, design & approach reflect the artist's unique interpretation
      of a subject or scene whether painted from life, sketches or photographs
...carries the highest value for your investment
...is a lasting joy to the collector and for this reason I use only professional
      quality paints and archival materials so that the piece you own will look
      as good as the day it was painted for many generations
...is a gift (to yourself or another) as fine art reflects a lasting emotional
      connection to simple, natural beauty captured at a unique moment in time

A Giclee Fine Art Print...
...may be a good option when the original is no longer available,
      is not the size you need, or cost is a concern
...is an excellent quality process involving high resolution digital scanning
      or photo of the original painting, printing with millions of ink droplets
      with better color accuracy than other types of reproduction onto fine
      art paper or canvas.  The inks and papers used are archival and rated
      to last a lifetime (paper must be framed under glass)
...is available in several different sizes for most of my works on art papers
      (with a white border around the image to make matting easy) or on
